About us

Thank you for stopping by, allow us to introduce ourselves.

Jes Karr

MSW, BCaBA

As a mother raising two young girls during a global pandemic I felt like I relied so heavily on my training during the challenging times. I want to give parents and caregivers skills applicable to their families and situations.

My Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development laid the groundwork. I then received a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with an emphasis in Family Therapy. Later I pursued a BCaBA (Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst) certificate.

I have worked with all ages and abilities, from a headstart center to high school students. My passion for working with children also led me to work with families in-home while I provided services for parents attempting to regain or keep the custody of their child(ren). I discovered my talent for working with teens and toddlers with my work within the public school system followed by my work in a behavior center for neurodivergent toddlers and preschoolers.

Dr. Nick

Board Certified Pediatrician and Internal Medicine

Dr. Nick has been in the background for a little bit but now is officially going to be joining in on the fun.

Outside the Box

The goal of Outside the Box Behavioral Consulting is to reach outside the typical behavior box to see the whole person, meet the family where they are at and work on only the most valuable of behavior change.

We offer tailor-made behavioral support that is realistic for busy caregivers and professionals and resources to save time and energy.
